Firstly, you must be aware of the fact that there is not just self confidence that you have to deal with. There is something deeper. And of course you will have to explore what actually is underneath.

You are carrying with yourself issues of the past that are still unresolved. You are holding in yourself opinions and beliefs of the others that are not necessary truth. 1. Think about someone who can help you. I think this is crucial. Because finally you have to discover that you alone are not capable to progress in your life. You have to be humble enough to admit that you need help. Maybe this is good friend, an expert, a priest, just someone who you can trust and rely on. Someone who will listen to you.

2. Read books. As I said, there are plenty of them in the market. Of course there is reason for that. Take advantage of it. Start reading and thinking about yourself, about people, about life, about human nature. And gradually you will understand more. This is the way how you can definitely gain self confidence!

3. Start to relax. You know how our life is stressful and we don't have time anymore to pause a bit and to look around. Maybe now it is the time. When you start to practice relaxation techniques and meditation, you will discover peace in yourself. You will discover an order that exist in you that gives you a security and protect you against confusion, chaos and stress. If you follow this order, you will find happiness.

4. Don't take yourself too seriously. Lack of self confidence is many times result of perception of ourselves and result of the fact that we are taking our life and ourselves too serious. So we expect from others something that they can not give us and also we expect from ourselves to be perfect, to make extraordinary things, to be more successful. So we are beating ourselves when we make mistake and we have hard times to admit our limitations. If you want to gain self confidence, than you must accept that you are not perfect and there is no need to rush towards success.
