1. They recognized negative thoughts and beliefs
If you really want to gain self confidence, than you must become aware of the way you think. When you become aware of your thoughts, you gain control over them and you can stop the negative thought and replace it with something more positive.
2. They started to act differently
Most often, when your thought are changed and are more positive, than also your behavior change. But often times we are not aware of all our beliefs that are routed in us. So we act in negative way. Confident people are constantly awake and they are capable to stop their acts when they behave negatively and are harming themselves or the others.
3. They learned how to say "no"
It is not just your's problem but problem of many of us. We don't want to reject others because we are afraid that they will finally reject us. But we don't want that. We don't want to be alone, we are scared of it. That is why, many times we say yes when we actually mean no. And it is good to ask yourself, why are you afraid to be alone? Why you think that people will accept you if you accept everything what they want? It is not true at all! So, when you mean yes, you say yes and when you mean no, say no.
4. Visualize what you want
It is really important how you see yourself. If you want to improve self esteem, than you must see yourself as the one who already has self esteem. Imagine yourself and visualize how confident you are when you approach others, how good you feel about yourself and how fearless you are, when you confronting obstacles and difficult situations.
5. Be around self confident people
If you look more closely, you will see that really self confident people don't circle around negative people. They know that this kind of people are holding them back, so try to do the same. Who in your life has negative impact on you? And who in your life can push you forward?
Make changes in your life - and you will change. You will improve self esteem!
